Book Fair- Coming Up Soon- During Conference Week!
The book fair will be going on in the small gym during conference week. Every child visits the book fair and makes a wish list- Be sure to find your child's wish list when you visit the book fair. Teachers also create a wish list- the book fair is a great place to get a fun book for your child's classroom teacher.
Book Fair Hours:
October 15th: 3:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. | October 16th: 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. | October 17th: 12:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Cultural Event on November 6!
The 3rd annual cultural fair is coming up on Wednesday, November 6th from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Greenbriar.
Did you know... Greenbriar was the first elementary school in District 28 to host a Cultural Fair? Let's continue the tradition!
Join other families in the Greenbriar community as we share, explore and celebrate cultures and heritages from around the world! Share your heritage, family traditions, your experience visiting another country, or research a country of your choice! Experience some hands on activities and new this year is a small performance!

Volunteer for Art Adventure
Art Adventure is a PTO sponsored program that gives parent volunteers the opportunity to teach art and cultural appreciation through classroom lessons and cultural events.
Each school year, every grade will experience one cultural event and three classroom lessons. Absolutely no creativity or art experience is necessary! All classroom lessons and cultural events include scripted lesson plans and materials.

Gift Card Plus Program
Give the Gift That Gives Twice! Gift Card Plus is a District-wide fundraiser by the PTO. The program offers District 28 families and friends the opportunity to purchase gift cards from various retailers, including movie theaters, hotels, gas stations, restaurants, and specialty stores. The program also features local businesses such as Sunset Foods, La De Da, and The Book Bin.
Gift Card Plus orders need to be submitted to the school office by Wednesday, October 9. Online orders will be accepted thru Thursday, October 10. Orders will be available for pick-up or delivery by Monday, Oct. 21.
